To apply for admission to the Dual M.S.(Engineering)+Ph.D. in EEE program offered by the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, a candidate must satisfy the following criteria:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology or equivalent in any discipline with a minimum CPI of 7.0 out of 10 or minimum 70 of marks.
- Having valid GATE score in any GATE Examination Paper
The requirement of valid GATE score is exempted for the Candidates with qualifying degree as Bachelors' (B.Tech./B.Des.) degree from an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) with minimum CPI of 8.0 in a 10-point scale.
Relaxation for SC/ ST/ PwD Candidates
The CPI or percentage marks in above mentioned eligibility requirements will be relaxed by 0.5 CPI or by 5% marks for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates. That is, the SC/ ST/ PwD candidates should have a minimum CPI of 6.5 out of 10 or minimum 65% of marks in their qualifying degree.
